Seven Costumes for The Worldhopper Ball 2024

I made seven costumes for the Worldhopper Ball at Dragonsteel Nexus 2024! I partnered with Paladin Creative and Dragonsteel Entertainment to bring seven characters from @brandonsanderson’s Stormlight Archive to life.

I created handmade uniforms for Kaladin @cliffweitzman, Dalinar @coul_808, and Wit @jacksonauthor. I also made two lovely havahs for Navani @cathyfordmusic and Jasnah @ambiwextrous.

But you all know my favorite things are the details. Kaladin and Dalinar got custom Kholin leather belts that I made. Wit got his own fancy cape. I made a set of special hair picks for Navani, and a gorgeous soul caster and earrings for Jasnah.

The two Oathgate guardians got handmade robes and a lot of armor!!! I so appreciate Skylar and Sterling for their handy knowledge in setting rivets. Thanks for helping me fit your oath gate guardian costumes and marble-like armor. That is not an easy thing to do when you are wearing stilts and guarding Shadesmar.

Also, I do want to mention that Adolin @jacksupertoast and Shallan’s @officialsavannahcarrasco wedding attire was created by the ever talented @valentine.bridal. Thanks for the fabric sourcing tips and the lifesaving zipper! Valentine Bridal is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and are fantastic to work with. I highly recommend them for custom formal wear.

It was incredibly special to have such amazing talent portray our beloved Stormlight characters while wearing the costumes I made. WOW! Thank you to each and every actor / actress for being so professional, kind, and helpful. You all are amazing.

Paladin Creative, I learned SO much about this side of show business and I cannot wait to do it again. Thank you for trusting me with the huge responsibility to make costumes for the first ever Worldhopper Ball at Dragonsteel Nexus. I’m beyond proud of what we were able to achieve together this year in 2024.
