Costume Commissions Open June 1, 2025

Hi there! I am thrilled to announce that my next batch of cosplay costume commission slots will open June 1st, 2025! If you want to get a costume lined up for Draongsteel Nexus in December 2025, I highly recommend getting in line sooner rather than later.

I did want to share some behind the scenes news from the sewing studio:

• Straight stitching can take a while, so I have ordered a new extremely fast sewing machine.

• I am getting some professional business advice, so I can plan well for the short term and long term.

• Incredibly, I have also hired a sewing assistant! I’m thrilled to share that news. At the same time, it’s easy to feel intimidated by these big shoes I’m wearing!

• These things in aggregate are intentional steps to being able to increase my output and turnaround time for excellent custom costumes. Yes, hopefully that does mean more capacity to make more costumes! Hooray!

I cannot wait to hear about your costume ideas. I think learning about each person’s specific vision for their book character cosplay is one of the most exciting things about running my custom costume business.
